January 26, 2025: The Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya starrer Sky Force has set the box office buzzing, raking in ₹22 crore on its second day, bringing its total collection to an estimated ₹33.75 crore. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has been living up to expectations, resonating with audiences eager for its compelling narrative based on true events.
A Cinematic Tribute to Indian Bravery
Sky Force chronicles India’s first airstrike during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War, a defining moment in the country’s military history. The story follows Wing Commander K.O. Ahuja, portrayed by Akshay Kumar, and T. Vijaya, played by debutant Veer Pahariya. The film celebrates the courage of the Indian Air Force and highlights the valor that changed the course of the war.

He urged fans to watch the untold story on the big screen, adding, “Sky Force is a tale of honor, courage, and patriotism that deserves to be shared.”

Day 1 Performance and Expectations
On its opening day, the film earned an estimated ₹3.63 crore from 2D Hindi screenings and ₹14 lakh from IMAX 2D shows. With approximately 160,740 tickets sold in advance bookings, the first-day collection was projected to reach ₹5.42 crore, factoring in blocked seats.
The film’s strong start is bolstered by positive reviews and a compelling narrative. Analysts expect Sky Force to maintain its momentum, with the first week promising substantial growth in collections.
