More than a decade after Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan ended their marriage, rumours about an alleged ₹400 crore alimony settlement continue to circulate online.
Now, Sussanne’s sister, Farah Khan Ali, has firmly denied those claims, stating that no such alimony was ever paid.
‘There Was Never ₹400 Crore Alimony’
In an interview with Vickey Lalwani, Farah Khan Ali called the reports completely false.
“There was never ₹400 crore alimony. My dearest sister did not take anything. We come from a family where relationships are more important than material things.”
She added that the rumours have unfairly portrayed Sussanne as someone seeking financial gain.
“She is not a gold-digger. She comes from a khandani family. She conducted herself with elegance.”
Amicable Divorce
Farah acknowledged that the couple’s decision to separate shocked many people at the time.
According to her, despite public speculation, Hrithik and Sussanne handled their divorce with maturity and mutual respect.
She also said their relationship with each other’s families remains strong, noting that Sussanne continues to share a warm bond with Hrithik and his parents, Rakesh Roshan and Pinkie Roshan.
Why Sussanne Stayed Silent
Farah revealed that she once encouraged Sussanne to publicly deny the rumours.
However, Sussanne reportedly replied:
“I don’t care what people think of me.”
Farah said that attitude reflects her sister’s belief that public opinion should not define one’s personal life.
Their Lives Today
Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan married in 2000 and divorced in 2014. They continue to co-parent their sons, Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan.
