Tahira Kashyap Khurrana has announced the release date for her much-anticipated directorial debut, ‘Sharmajee Ki Beti.’ The film, starring Sakshi Tanwar, Saiyami Kher, and Divya Dutta, is set to premiere on Prime Video on June 28.
The streaming platform shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting the movie’s official poster with the caption, “bright spirits, bold hearts, & big dreams! are you ready to meet these superwomen? #SharmajeeKiBetiOnPrime, June 28.” The announcement quickly garnered attention, with Tahira’s husband, actor Ayushmann Khurrana, reacting with heart emojis and actress Tisca Chopra commenting, “Can’t wait to watch.” Fans also expressed their excitement, with one user writing, “Looking forward to this movie…”
‘Sharmajee Ki Beti’ is a light-hearted and heartwarming movie that explores women’s empowerment and the challenges they face. The film, written and directed by Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, follows the lives of three middle-class women and two teenage girls, all sharing the common surname ‘Sharma.’ Through their multi-generational stories, the film delves into their unique experiences and struggles.
