About ‘Thandel’
Thandel is inspired by a real-life incident from 2018, depicting the harrowing story of a fisherman from Srikakulam who was captured by Pakistani forces in international waters. The film’s intense narrative, combined with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s powerful performances, has kept audiences engaged.
With no major competition at the box office, Thandel is expected to cross the ₹50 crore mark soon. The film’s gripping storytelling, emotional depth, and well-executed action sequences have resonated well with audiences, making it one of Naga Chaitanya’s strongest openers in recent years.
