John Abraham’s much-anticipated action-thriller The Diplomat hit theaters on March 14, facing tough competition from Chhaava, which continues to dominate the box office in its fifth week. However, thanks to the Holi festival boost, the film managed to mint ₹4 crore on its opening day, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

Although Chhaava earned ₹7.25 crore on its 29th day, The Diplomat positioned itself as a strong alternative for moviegoers, especially those drawn to high-stakes action dramas inspired by real events.
