The creators of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ unveiled a teaser featuring Amitabh Bachchan in this highly anticipated sci-fi dystopian film.
The 21-second teaser showcases Amitabh Bachchan in a stark, earthy setting, meditating in front of a Shiva linga within a cave, his appearance accentuated by bandages. The clip captures a poignant moment where a child questions him, “Kya tum bhagwan ho, kya tum marr nahi sakte? Tum Bhagwan ho? Kaun ho Tum?” (Are you a god, can you not die? Are you God? Who are you?) To this, his character solemnly responds, “Dwapar yug se Dash avatar ki pratiksha kar raha hoon main, Dronacharya ka putra Ashwatthama.” (Since the Dwapar Yug, I have been waiting for the Dasavatar, I am Ashwatthama, the son of Dronacharya.)
Earlier that day, Amitabh Bachchan heightened anticipation further by sharing a new poster of the film on X, describing the project as “an experience for me like no other…”
