Second Industrialists Career Exhibition launches in Abu Dhabi

The second Industrialists Career Exhibition opened under the auspices of prominent UAE officials including Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Ghanam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council.

This three-day event is a strategic collaboration involving the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre), Nafis, and ADNOC Group, aimed at integrating Emirati talent into the private sector.

The exhibition showcases over 800 job opportunities provided by more than 80 participating companies from industrial, technological, and service sectors, and introduces special job roles for 150 people of determination, aligning with the National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme to promote localization and Emiratisation.

Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of MoIAT, emphasized the exhibition’s role in supporting the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology and the Operation 300bn initiative. He stated, “Under the objectives of the National Strategy, we are committed to boosting the growth and competitiveness of our national industrial sector through strategic capacity building. This includes offering a robust platform for job and training opportunities that will ultimately contribute to the national economy.”

Al Suwaidi urged Emiratis to leverage this opportunity to explore various career and development avenues, highlighting the initiative’s importance in reinforcing the UAE’s position as a global hub for sustainable and advanced industries.

Ghannam Al Mazrouei reiterated the success of the exhibition’s first edition and its significant role in fostering skill development in line with global standards through the Nafis program. “These training programmes are tailored to enhance technical and soft skills in cooperation with top industrial firms and training institutes, driving forward our Emiratization and economic sustainability efforts,” he explained.

Yaser Saeed Al Mazrouei, ADNOC Executive Director, discussed ADNOC’s strategy to support the In-Country Value Programme by integrating Emirati talent into the private sector, enhancing operational sustainability, and boosting the national economy. “With over 11,500 Emiratis placed in private sector roles, our efforts continue to empower UAE nationals, advancing the country’s economic growth and prosperity,” he noted.

Reflecting on the productive outcomes of the first edition of the Industrialists Career Exhibition, which hosted 3,000 participants and facilitated numerous on-the-spot employment and training opportunities, the event underscores the robust partnerships between the public and private sectors, aiming to significantly elevate the UAE’s industrial capacity and technological advancements.
