In a deeply distressing incident, 23-year-old model and social media influencer Anjali Varmora was found dead at her residence in Surat on June 7. The young woman, who had over 37,000 followers on Instagram and was active on YouTube, is believed to have died by suicide.

Just a day before her death, Anjali posted a cryptic reel on Instagram that read, “Today I realised I am nothing for you.” Another reel followed with the text: “It doesn’t matter if everything is lost, but it hurts if love is lost.” These posts have now gone viral, with followers and fans expressing shock and sorrow at her untimely demise.
Investigation Underway
The police have not recovered any suicide note from the scene and are currently scanning Anjali’s phone and social media messages for potential clues. Investigators suspect that she may have been under emotional distress or mental pressure, though the exact cause is still under investigation.

This tragedy comes just a month after another aspiring model, 19-year-old Sukhpreet Kaur from Madhya Pradesh, died by suicide in Surat’s Saroli area. In that case, police found that she had allegedly been blackmailed and mentally harassed by a man, who was later charged with abetment to suicide.
