Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2026 Brezza facelift in India with a starting price of ₹7.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated compact SUV receives several cosmetic changes, new technology features, improved safety equipment and a new turbo-petrol engine to strengthen its position in one of India’s most competitive SUV segments.
The facelifted Brezza competes with rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue.
Refreshed Exterior Design
While the overall silhouette remains familiar, the new Brezza gets noticeable styling updates at the front.
The SUV features a redesigned grille, updated headlamps and a revised front bumper with triangular fog lamp housings. These changes give the vehicle a sharper and more modern appearance.
Additionally, Maruti Suzuki has introduced newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, however, the styling remains largely unchanged.
Cabin Gets Premium Upgrades
Inside, the Brezza now offers a more premium interior with a dual-tone black-and-brown cabin theme.
The biggest upgrade is the new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is paired with a fully digital instrument cluster and a head-up display (HUD) for added convenience.
The updated dashboard and improved materials further enhance the cabin experience.
More Comfort and Convenience Features
Maruti Suzuki has significantly expanded the feature list in the new Brezza.
Key comfort and convenience features include:
- Ventilated front seats
- Powered front seats
- Wireless smartphone charger
- 64-colour ambient lighting
- Automatic climate control
- Air purifier
- Auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror (IRVM)
- Adjustable steering wheel
These additions make the Brezza more competitive against newer rivals in the compact SUV segment.
Safety Receives a Major Boost
The facelifted Brezza also gets several important safety upgrades.
The SUV now comes equipped with:
- Six airbags
- 360-degree camera
- Blind-spot monitoring

According to Maruti Suzuki, the updated Brezza has also received a five-star Bharat NCAP safety rating.
Engine Options Expanded
The Brezza continues to offer the familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 102 hp and 139 Nm of torque.
The CNG variant remains available. However, it now features an underbody-mounted CNG tank, freeing up more luggage space inside the boot.
The biggest mechanical update is the introduction of a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
The new engine produces:
- 110 hp
- 170 Nm of torque
It comes paired with a six-speed manual transmission, while automatic gearbox options continue to be offered with the lineup.
Variants and Price
The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza is available in four variants:
- LXi
- VXi
- ZXi
- ZXi+
Prices for the updated SUV start at ₹7.40 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most feature-rich offerings in the compact SUV segment.
With refreshed styling, a stronger safety package, premium features and the addition of a turbo-petrol engine, Maruti Suzuki aims to further strengthen the Brezza’s position in the highly competitive Indian SUV market.
