BJP leader Amit Malviya has criticised Rahul Gandhi’s allegations regarding elections and institutions

June 4, 2026: BJP leader Amit Malviya launched a fresh attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, questioning his repeated allegations about the electoral process and democratic institutions. Malviya argued that despite Gandhi’s claims that various institutions were allegedly working in his favour, the Congress party has continued to suffer electoral defeats and political decline.

Referring to Congress’ criticism of election-related processes, Malviya said no allegation of election rigging made by the party had been proven in court. He also questioned Rahul Gandhi’s opposition to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, suggesting that concerns over electoral roll verification were being raised without evidence. Malviya further alleged that Congress was attempting to create doubts around democratic processes for political reasons.

The BJP leader also accused Rahul Gandhi of frequently introducing new narratives about threats to democracy, institutions, or the economy whenever political debates intensify. According to Malviya, such claims have repeatedly failed to materialise. His remarks mark the latest chapter in the ongoing political confrontation between the BJP and Congress ahead of upcoming electoral battles.
