Consumers will now pay Rs 1 to Rs 3 more for several Amul milk variants, including Taaza, Gold, Shakti and Buffalo milk
May 13, 2026: Amul has announced a price hike across several milk variants, increasing rates by Rs 1 to Rs 3. The revised prices will come into effect from tomorrow, impacting popular packs such as Amul Taaza, Gold, Shakti and Buffalo milk.
According to the new pricing structure, Amul Taaza 500 ml will now cost Rs 29 instead of Rs 28, while the 1-litre pack has been increased from Rs 55 to Rs 57. Amul Tea Special 1 litre has also become costlier, with its price rising from Rs 63 to Rs 66.
Meanwhile, Buffalo milk 500 ml will now be sold at Rs 39, up from Rs 37. Amul Gold has been revised from Rs 34 to Rs 35, while Amul Shakti 500 ml will now cost Rs 35 instead of Rs 34. The latest revision is expected to affect household budgets as milk prices continue to rise.
