July 8, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are preparing a large-scale public outreach campaign to address concerns arising from the Ram Temple donation controversy. According to party sources, the initiative aims to reassure devotees, counter Opposition allegations, and prevent the issue from affecting the BJP’s electoral prospects in Uttar Pradesh. The RSS is also considering a door-to-door campaign to assure donors that temple offerings remain secure and that any irregularities are being thoroughly investigated.
With the Opposition expected to raise the matter during the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament, the BJP has instructed its leaders, particularly in Uttar Pradesh, to highlight the swift action taken by the Centre and the state government.
