January 31, 2025: The 2025 Budget Session of Parliament commenced today with a joint address by President Droupadi Murmu, setting the stage for critical discussions on India’s economy and key legislative reforms. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will follow by tabling the Economic Survey 2024-25 in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

- First Full Budget of Modi 3.0: The much-anticipated full Budget will be presented on February 3, with expectations of changes to income tax slabs and other financial reforms.

- First phase: January 31 to February 13.
- Second phase: March 10 to April 4.
- The session will include 27 sittings in total.
- Discussion on Presidential Address: Lok Sabha has allocated February 3-4 for discussing the Motion of Thanks, while Rajya Sabha will debate it over three days.
