Enforcement Directorate conducts multi-city searches linked to Sanjeev Arora under FEMA investigation
April 17, 2026: The Enforcement Directorate carried out searches at the residence of Sanjeev Arora and his associates early Friday morning as part of an investigation under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). The action also targeted his business partners, including Hemanth Sood from Ludhiana and Chandrasekhar Aggarwal from Jalandhar.
Officials said simultaneous raids are being conducted at multiple locations linked to the case, including Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Jalandhar. The coordinated operation suggests a wider probe into financial dealings, though detailed information about the nature of the investigation has not yet been officially disclosed.
Responding to the developments, Arora said he would fully cooperate with the authorities. In a post on X, he stated that he is confident the truth will prevail, emphasising his willingness to assist the investigation as a responsible citizen.
