YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav has joined the internet’s latest political satire wave by introducing a fictional political outfit called the Khargosh Janta Party (KJP). Announced on June 10, the mock party has been positioned as a humorous rival to the viral Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which has gained significant traction online and recently inspired student-led demonstrations.
Yadav unveiled the parody campaign through a series of social media posts, complete with posters and a light-hearted manifesto focused on rabbits. The party’s slogan promotes “sharp minds, long ears, and development powered by carrots,” while its agenda revolves around three key themes: declaring carrots a fundamental right, celebrating speed as a symbol of identity, and encouraging unity among rabbits.

Taking the joke further, Yadav invited supporters to gather at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, promising free carrots for attendees. The announcement quickly gained attention online and added fuel to the growing meme culture surrounding fictional political parties.

A movement for:
🗣️ Free Speech
👨👩👧👦 Middle-Class Empowerment
🇮🇳 National Pride

The social media influencer also launched a dedicated KJP account, introducing himself as the party’s founder and jokingly claiming the title of prime minister. According to the page, the Khargosh Janta Party advocates free speech, middle-class empowerment, and national pride, though the campaign remains firmly rooted in satire.
The launch comes at a time when the Cockroach Janta Party has evolved from an internet joke into a broader youth-driven movement. Initially created as a satire page, CJP has increasingly been used by students and young users to highlight concerns related to issues such as the NEET paper leak controversy and the CBSE OSM dispute.
The emergence of KJP has triggered a fresh wave of online engagement, with supporters of both fictional groups engaging in meme battles across social media platforms. Users have been sharing parody campaign posters, mock political debates, and humorous content, turning the rivalry into a trending online spectacle.
While many internet users have welcomed the campaign as harmless entertainment, others have expressed concerns that ongoing student issues may be overshadowed by the growing focus on memes and satire. The debate has added another layer to a trend that continues to blur the lines between internet humour and social commentary.
