July 7, 2025: A major fire broke out early Monday morning at a hotel located above an Axis Bank branch in Sahibabad’s busy M4U Market, creating panic in the area.
As per initial visuals shared by IANS, massive flames were seen engulfing the upper floor of the building. The fire reportedly started in the early hours, causing chaos and fear among nearby residents and shopkeepers.

The hotel is situated in a commercial complex, directly above the Axis Bank office, which made the situation even more alarming. Several videos of the incident show thick plumes of smoke and bright flames rising from the building’s rooftop.
Local police immediately rushed to the spot and began cordoning off the area to keep people away from danger. However, eyewitnesses claimed that even after the fire was reported, fire brigade vehicles had not reached the location for some time, raising serious questions about emergency response in the region.
So far, no injuries or casualties have been reported, but the exact cause of the fire remains unknown. Authorities are yet to confirm the extent of the damage. Meanwhile, officials said a full investigation will be conducted once the fire is under control.
