The long wait for lakhs of students across India is nearing its end as the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) prepares to declare the ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 results for 2026.
According to the latest updates from council officials on Monday, April 27, 2026, the evaluation process is complete, and the final result dates are currently being processed. Indications suggest that the scores are likely to be made public by the end of April or the first week of May, keeping with the board’s traditional timeline.
Where and How to Check Results Online
Once the official announcement is made, students and parents can access the digital mark sheets through the primary result portals: cisce.org and results.cisce.org. To view the scores, candidates will need to enter their Unique ID and Index Number as provided on their admit cards. The board will also offer a facility to receive results via SMS for those with limited internet access. Schools will be able to download the consolidated result tabulation registers through the CAREERS portal of the council using the principal’s login credentials.
Re-evaluation and Pass Percentage Trends
Following the declaration, CISCE will open a window for the re-check of results for students who are unsatisfied with their marks. Officials have noted that the board has maintained a stellar pass percentage trend over the last few years, often crossing the 98% mark for ICSE and 96% for ISC. This year, the board successfully conducted the examinations in a single term, moving away from the semester-based models used during the pandemic years. Digilocker will also serve as a secondary platform for students to store their authenticated digital migration certificates and mark sheets for future college admissions.
Advice for Students and Parents
With rumors circulating on social media regarding a “leaked” result date, CISCE has urged stakeholders to rely only on official press releases found on the board’s website. “The wait is almost over, but precision in data uploading is our priority,” a senior official stated. Parents are advised to keep the student’s Admit Card handy and maintain a calm atmosphere at home. Given that most competitive college entrance exams are already underway, the timely release of the ISC results is crucial for Class 12 students seeking undergraduate seats.
