After being confronted over their affair, the duo murdered the husband, attempted to burn the body, and fled when a vehicle approached.
March 20, 2025: A gruesome murder in Jaipur has shocked residents after a woman and her lover were caught on CCTV carrying her husband’s body on a motorcycle before attempting to burn it. The crime took place after the husband confronted the duo over their extramarital affair, police said.
The Murder Plot
The victim, Dhannalal Saini, was a vegetable seller married to Gopali Devi, who claimed to work at a factory. However, she was actually in a five-year-long affair with Deendayal Kushwaha, a man employed at a clothing store.
Suspecting his wife’s claims, Saini followed her on Saturday and found her with Kushwaha at the store. An argument ensued, after which the accused lured Saini to another shop on the upper floor, where they struck his head with an iron pipe and strangled him with a rope.
