A man from Nagaland has won widespread praise on social media after ordering 150 Domino’s Farmhouse Cheese Burst pizzas for students protesting at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over the NEET paper leak controversy.
Dielhi Dienu, who shared the story on Instagram through his account @adiespoems, said he wanted to support the protesters despite being unable to travel to Delhi and join the demonstrations organised by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).
“I Couldn’t Enjoy My Dinner”
In his Instagram post, Dienu explained that he felt guilty eating dinner while many students participating in the protest had gone without food.
“Tonight, I couldn’t enjoy my own dinner with the grief that I couldn’t be there in the protest, and my fellow brothers and sisters are there starving.”
He added that although he was hundreds of kilometres away in Nagaland, he wanted to contribute to the students’ movement for a fair education system.
“I’m sitting here in Nagaland, while thousands of students are at Jantar Mantar, far away from home, fighting for what they believe is a better future and a fairer education system. I couldn’t be there with them, so this was the least I could do.”
Ordered 150 Farmhouse Cheese Burst Pizzas
Instead of attending the protest, Dienu placed an order for 150 Farmhouse Cheese Burst pizzas from Domino’s and had them delivered directly to the protest site at Jantar Mantar.
Screenshots shared on Instagram showed that the order was placed on July 22 at around 4:30 p.m.
The bill included:
- 150 Farmhouse Cheese Burst pizzas
- Food cost: ₹64,650
- Taxes, restaurant charges and delivery fees
- Total bill: ₹67,734
“Give It to Anyone Who Hasn’t Eaten”
When the Domino’s delivery executive called to ask who should receive the large order, Dienu had a simple instruction.
“Please just give it to anyone who hasn’t eaten.”
According to Dienu, the delivery partner paused briefly before responding:
“Aap toh bhagwan ho un logo ke liye.”
The remark left a lasting impression on him.
“Maybe he was thinking about the students. Maybe he has siblings or children studying. I don’t know his story, but his words reminded me that this movement affects far more people than those standing at the protest site.”
“I’m Not Posting This to Show Off”
Dienu clarified that his intention was not to seek appreciation but to encourage others to contribute in whatever way they could.
“I’m not posting this to show off. I’m posting this because I want people to know that you don’t have to be in Delhi to help… No act of kindness is ever too small.”

The heartfelt gesture quickly went viral, with users praising Dienu’s generosity.
