June 14, 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday inaugurated the Bharat Innovates event in Nice, France. Speaking at the event, PM Modi said innovation is deeply rooted in India’s DNA and remains a key driver of the country’s growth and development. The event marked another step in strengthening strategic cooperation between India and France.

Referring to the India-France Year of Innovation launched earlier this year, Modi said the new platform would help create stronger links between Indian talent and European investment opportunities. He noted that young Indian innovators would benefit from greater access to European expertise, technology, and resources through the initiative.

The Prime Minister thanked President Macron for attending the event and recalled his call for India and France to work together in addressing global challenges. Modi said Bharat Innovates would serve as an important bridge for collaboration, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and partnerships between the two nations in the years ahead.
