AAP leader claims BJP poaching bid as speculation grows over alleged MP exits
April 24, 2026: Sanjay Singh on Friday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of successfully executing its alleged “Operation Lotus” ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections. Addressing a press conference, he claimed that several leaders associated with the Aam Aadmi Party were preparing to switch sides.
Singh specifically named Raghav Chadha, Ashok Mittal, Harbhajan Singh, and Swati Maliwal among those he alleged were set to join the BJP. However, there has been no official confirmation from the individuals mentioned or from the BJP regarding these claims.
Issuing a stern warning, Singh said that the public would not forgive the MPs if they chose to leave the party. The allegations have intensified political tensions, with the situation being closely watched for any official developments or responses from the leaders involved.
