A heated confrontation involving the lawyer of Twisha Sharma’s mother-in-law has added a new twist to the ongoing high-profile death investigation in Bhopal.
May 23, 2026: The investigation into the death of Twisha Sharma continues to intensify as new allegations and developments emerge following her death at her matrimonial home in Bhopal. Amid the ongoing probe and demands for a CBI inquiry, a video featuring the lawyer of Twisha’s mother-in-law has gone viral online, showing him angrily confronting reporters outside the family residence.
The lawyer, Enosh George, was leaving the residence along with Giribala Singh when journalists approached them for comments regarding the case. During the interaction, George supported the demand for a CBI probe but soon became visibly furious, alleging that his foot was run over by the car amid the crowd outside. In the viral clip, he can be seen shouting at reporters and accusing them of reckless behaviour.
Meanwhile, the role of Giribala Singh has come under scrutiny after Twisha’s family alleged that she attempted to influence the investigation by contacting senior officials, members of the judiciary and CCTV technicians after the incident. Twisha Sharma was found hanging at her marital home in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area on May 12. Her family has accused her husband and in-laws of dowry harassment, while the in-laws have claimed she struggled with drug addiction. The Madhya Pradesh government has recommended a CBI probe, and police have issued notices to Giribala Singh for questioning in the case.
