North India, including Delhi, is set to get relief from the intense heat starting the night of June 13, 2025, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
June 13, 2025: The IMD has issued an Orange Alert, warning of thunderstorms, rainfall, and strong winds blowing at speeds of 40-50 km/h. People are advised to stay alert and take precautions.

Starting Saturday, June 14, the weather across Delhi-NCR, Punjab, and Haryana is expected to become significantly cooler. The maximum temperature is forecast to dip to 41°C, while the minimum may settle around 29°C. On June 15, temperatures will drop further to 40°C max and 28°C min, bringing relief through expected thunderstorms with rain.

Extended Forecast:
- June 16 & 17: Overcast skies with light to moderate rainfall are expected. Temperatures may hover around 38°C (max) and 27–28°C (min).
- June 18 & 19: Continued chances of thunderstorms and showers, with the mercury ranging between 26°C (min) and 37–38°C (max).
- Humidity levels could reach up to 80–85%, offering a major respite from dry heat.
