The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a yellow nowcast warning for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad, predicting light to moderate rainfall at isolated locations over the next few hours as monsoon activity remains active across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 38.9°C on Sunday, slightly above normal levels, while the IMD forecast rain and thunderstorms that could bring relief from the prevailing heat across the city and adjoining NCR regions.
