June 12, 2026: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Noida Electric Bus Depot and flagged off 45 electric buses for Gautam Buddh Nagar, strengthening the state’s push towards eco-friendly public transportation. Speaking at the event, he said Uttar Pradesh has undergone significant transformation since 2017, with major improvements in infrastructure, governance, and public services.

The Chief Minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for India’s rising global stature and rapid development. He noted that the country is addressing key global challenges while pursuing growth and innovation. Yogi Adityanath highlighted issues such as climate change, global warming, air pollution, and conflicts in West Asia, stressing the importance of adopting sustainable and environmentally responsible policies.

He said initiatives like electric mobility are essential for reducing pollution and promoting cleaner transportation systems. Yogi also announced that operations at India’s largest airport are expected to begin from June 15, describing it as another major milestone in Uttar Pradesh’s expanding infrastructure and development agenda.
