The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) team UP Yoddhas is prepared to take on the Haryana Steelers in their upcoming match, which is scheduled for this Wednesday at The Arena in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Yoddhas, who trailed U Mumba in their season opener by just three points, are currently ranked seventh in the league standings with one point in hand.
According to statistics, the Pro Kabaddi League has seen eight meetings between UP Yoddhas and Haryana Steelers, with three wins apiece for each team and two ties in the other meetings.

“In our season opener, we lost to U Mumba by a very narrow margin. We are certain that we will overcome the Haryana Steelers because we won’t make the same mistakes we did in that game. Jasveer Singh, the head coach of UP Yoddhas, was quoted in a team press release as saying, “We have a good environment in our team and we all are spending as much time as we can with each other and this camaraderie will be seen on the mat.”
The majority of the raid points were scored by seasoned raider Surender Gill and Anil Kumar, who made his UP Yoddhas debut in the most recent game. They will try to build on their strong league debut.

In the match, Captain Pardeep Narwal, who is trying to find his true form, will try to turn things around. Nitin Panwar and Vijay Malik, both all-around players, will be in charge of keeping the defence and raiding departments balanced. The formidable defensive duo of Nitesh Kumar Sumit and Ashu Singh, who have made it difficult for raiders to gather points, will present a difficult task for Haryana’s raiders.
The season will see the Haryana Steelers take the mat for the first time, and the match between the two North Indian teams looks to be exciting.
