Yuvraj Singh turned back the clock in Indian Masters League (IML) 2025, smashing seven sixes in a blistering 59-run knock off just 30 balls as the India Masters knocked Australia Masters out of the tournament. The southpaw’s explosive hitting reminded fans of his iconic six sixes in an over against Stuart Broad in the 2007 ICC World T20, a moment that remains etched in cricketing history.

Dominant Batting Display by India Masters

Batting first, India Masters posted a formidable 220/7, with multiple contributions from veteran Indian cricketers:
Sachin Tendulkar – 42 runs (30 balls, 7 fours)
Stuart Binny – 36 runs (21 balls)
Yusuf Pathan – 23 runs (10 balls)
Irfan Pathan – 19 runs (7 balls)

Yuvraj’s fireworks included three consecutive sixes against Australia leg-spinner Bryce McGain, drawing comparisons to his fearless approach from his prime.

Bowling Masterclass Seals Australia’s Fate

Defending 220, India Masters’ bowlers dominated from the start, with Vinay Kumar dismissing Shane Watson (5) and Shaun Marsh (21) inside the powerplay.

Left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem stole the show, producing a match-winning spell of 4/15 in four overs, dismantling Australia’s middle order. His victims included:
