The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged Badrinath Temple donation theft has found that the arrested accused, Pramod Nautiyal, was allegedly caught on CCTV stealing cash during donation counting on at least four occasions.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday said the Badrinath Temple theft is an extremely serious matter and assured that those responsible would face the strictest legal action. Speaking during the 'Jan-Jan ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan ke Dwar' programme in Gopeshwar, Chamoli, Dhami said the government would not allow the incident to be politicised and promised a fair and thorough investigation.
