Union Home Minister Amit Shah has initiated a major border security mission aimed at strengthening surveillance and tightening control along the India–Pakistan border, especially in Rajasthan’s sensitive frontier districts. During a high-level review meeting in Bikaner, Shah directed officials to immediately demolish all illegal constructions located within a 15-kilometre radius of the international border.
All leaves cancelled for Delhi government employees, enhanced night patrols and bomb squad deployments ordered as military escalation continues post Operation Sindoor.
