Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday expressed confidence that the first tranche of the India-US bilateral trade agreement will be signed soon. Speaking at a press conference, he said that most major issues have already been resolved and discussions are now in the final stages.
India and the United States will begin a fresh round of trade negotiations on Monday as chief negotiators from both countries meet to finalise the details of an interim trade pact.
