The United States military has confirmed the death of senior ISIS leader Ali Husayn al-‘Ulaywi in a precision airstrike carried out in northwestern Syria. According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), the operation took place on June 19 as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts in the region.
