Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday launched a fresh attack on the BJP and the Election Commission, alleging that the Rajya Sabha election process had been manipulated through what he described as a BJP-EC “jugalbandi.”
Several Congress and BJP candidates were elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan on Thursday. The uncontested victories came after no additional candidates remained in the race following the completion of the nomination withdrawal process.
