US Vice President JD Vance on Monday indicated that the United States could allow some frozen Iranian assets to be used for the purchase of agricultural products such as soy, corn, and wheat. Speaking after the latest round of negotiations with Iran, Vance said the discussions had created a strong foundation for a future agreement.
The United States and Iran have agreed on a roadmap aimed at reaching a final agreement within the next 60 days following two days of negotiations in Burgenstock, Switzerland. The talks were held under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed last week and were facilitated by Pakistan and Qatar.
