The Press Information Bureau has denied viral claims about a proposed temple gold bond scheme, calling them fake. It clarified that no such government decision exists and urged reliance on official sources. The misinformation emerged amid concerns over India’s rising gold imports, forex pressure, and recent import duty hikes.
