The Congress on Monday accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of orchestrating the merger of 20 rebel Trinamool Congress (TMC) MPs with the Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI)
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Wednesday firmly rejected reports suggesting a possible merger with the Congress party. Responding to growing political speculation, TMC leaders described the claims as "baseless" and said there were no discussions underway regarding any merger between the two parties.
