US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told lawmakers that Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei remains alive and appears to be taking a more active role in the country's affairs as diplomatic efforts over Tehran's nuclear programme remain deadlocked.
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there was "no ambiguity" about the scope of a potential ceasefire and stressed that it would cover all theatres of conflict in the region. He warned that any violation in one area would be considered a breach of the entire agreement
