Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay's much-awaited farewell film Jana Nayagan witnessed a sharp decline at the box office on its second day despite opening strongly. Released on July 23 after months of delay due to certification issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the film collected ₹21.15 crore net in India on Day 2, registering a 50.5% drop from its opening-day collection of ₹42.70 crore.
