In a first-of-its-kind innovation, former First Lady Melania Trump uses AI voice cloning to release an audiobook of her memoir, redefining celebrity publishing.

Melania Trump has become the first high-profile political figure to use artificial intelligence to narrate her memoir, Melania, with her own synthetic voice. In a bold move she calls the start of a “new era in publishing,” the former First Lady announced the launch of the AI-powered audiobook version of her memoir on Thursday.

“My story. My perspective. The truth,” says Melania’s digitally cloned voice in a preview shared on X (formerly Twitter). “Let the future of publishing begin,” she added, unveiling the $25 audiobook now available exclusively on her website.

Developed in partnership with AI audio firm ElevenLabs, the audiobook is narrated entirely in Melania Trump’s voice — not recorded, but generated using voice synthesis technology. The AI version is also available in Spanish, Portuguese, and Hindi, with more languages planned.

Memoir Details:

Originally published in October 2024, Melania spans her journey from Cold War-era Yugoslavia to her rise as First Lady of the United States. The book offers rare personal insights into her marriage with Donald Trump, her early modeling career, and her experiences inside the White House.

On meeting Donald Trump, Melania recalls:

“There was so much bustling activity around us, but his intent focus on our interaction made me feel like the center of his world.”

She also shares how she initially declined to give him her phone number, surprising him with her poise.
