SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited film GlobeTrotter, featuring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in leading roles, is set to be launched on the third death anniversary of superstar Krishna.
Krishna, a legendary figure in Telugu cinema, passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 79. As the film’s launch event approaches in Hyderabad, Mahesh Babu appears to be feeling his father’s absence more deeply. Ahead of the event, the actor shared a heartfelt tribute on social media.
Mahesh posted a nostalgic childhood photograph of himself with his father. In the picture, Krishna is seen wearing a leather jacket and chequered shirt, standing beside a vintage motorcycle, while a young Mahesh—dressed in a simple white shirt and jeans—looks up at him. The moment seems to have been captured on a film set years ago.
Sharing the photo on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, Mahesh wrote, “Thinking of you a little more today… and knowing you’d be proud nanna,” expressing both love and longing as he prepares for one of the biggest film announcements of his career.
