The Indian Premier League continues to witness the rise of a new superstar as teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi delivered another breathtaking performance in IPL 2026. The Rajasthan Royals opener smashed a stunning 93 off just 38 balls against Lucknow Super Giants in Jaipur on Tuesday, helping Rajasthan Royals chase down a massive 221-run target with seven wickets in hand.

The explosive knock not only powered Rajasthan Royals to an important victory but also saw Sooryavanshi shatter multiple IPL records during what is rapidly becoming one of the greatest breakout seasons in tournament history.

The youngster’s innings was packed with fearless strokeplay as he hammered 10 sixes and seven fours at a staggering strike rate. His assault left the Lucknow bowlers with no answers and ensured RR completed the chase in just 19.1 overs.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Becomes Youngest Batter To Reach 500 IPL Runs

With his latest innings, Sooryavanshi became the youngest player ever to score 500 runs in a single IPL season. He broke the previous record held by Rishabh Pant, who had achieved the milestone at the age of 20 while playing for Delhi Daredevils in 2018.
