A recent conversation about Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola’s personal life has triggered a social media controversy. The discussion took place on the new talk show The POV, where actors Hina Khan, Rocky Jaiswal, Rubina Dilaik, and Abhinav Shukla spoke about the couple’s decision not to have children.

The conversation quickly gained attention after the panel discussed whether raising a pet could be compared to raising a child. Their remarks divided social media users, and actor Anuj Sachdeva later reacted strongly to the viral clip.

What sparked the controversy?

During the discussion, Akanksha Chamola’s earlier comparison between caring for a pet and raising a child became the topic of debate.

Hina Khan said, “Bachche bhot bada debate hai.” Rubina Dilaik then asked, “Bachche aur apne puppies are same?”

Rocky Jaiswal replied that he completely disagreed with the comparison.

“I absolutely disagree. I don’t think you can ever equate a human child with any animal child,” he said.

He further explained his opinion by saying, “I can love a f*ing furniture, I don’t care. Attachment is a separate thing,” suggesting that emotional attachment to a pet cannot be compared with raising a human child.

The clip soon spread across social media, with users sharing different opinions on the discussion.

Anuj Sachdeva criticises the remarks

Actor Anuj Singh Sachdeva reacted to the viral video by posting a strongly worded message on social media.

Expressing his disappointment, he wrote that he was saddened by the lack of empathy shown during the conversation.

“It must be exhausting for them carrying around that much hatred in their heart where empathy was expected while comparing someone’s pet at home to a ‘f**king furniture’. I feel sad for you all that you could not get your parents’ love to understand that people get attached to the ones they love,” he wrote.

Anuj also expressed concern about the tone of the discussion.

“One almost pities the children growing up in such homes where compassion is dead. Clearly, commenting on Gaurav Khanna’s personal life is the only way some of these people can trend for five minutes before fading back into irrelevance. Sad,” he added.

His post received mixed reactions, with many users supporting his stand while others defended the opinions shared on the show.
