According to the actor, while attraction is important, the true foundation of a lasting relationship is friendship and companionship.

Hemsworth also highlighted the importance of staying curious about one another. He noted that when couples stop having meaningful conversations or lose interest in understanding each other, it can become a warning sign for the relationship.

He believes relationships should never reach a point where partners feel they have completely figured each other out. Instead, continuing to learn about one another while growing as individuals helps strengthen the bond.

The actor added that this mindset encourages compassion, forgiveness, and a better understanding of each other’s flaws and imperfections. Accepting that both partners continue to evolve, he said, has played a significant role in keeping their marriage strong over the years.

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are widely regarded as one of Hollywood’s most enduring couples, often admired for balancing successful acting careers with a grounded family life.
