The wait is finally over for fans of high-octane action! JioHotstar has officially announced the digital release date for Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. After making waves in theaters since its March 19 release, the Ranveer Singh starrer is set for a “Grand Digital Premiere” on June 4, 2026, at 7 PM IST.
Following the premiere event, the film will be available for full streaming exclusively on JioHotstar starting June 5. This launch comes nearly two and a half months after its theatrical debut, satisfying the growing demand from domestic audiences.
The ‘Raw and Undekha’ Experience
In a move that has piqued the interest of cinema buffs, the version arriving on streaming is titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Raw & Undekha). This special edition boasts a runtime of 3 hours and 52 minutes roughly three minutes longer than the theatrical cut.
Reports suggest that this “unseen” version restores gritty dialogues and features extended, sharper violence that was originally trimmed to meet certification standards. While international audiences began streaming a similar version on Netflix earlier this week, Indian viewers will get the definitive “undekha” experience with added footage and unfiltered intensity.
Is a Trilogy in the Works?
The excitement surrounding the OTT release is further amplified by hints of a potential third installment. With an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Akshaye Khanna, the Dhurandhar universe is expanding rapidly.
Jio Studios co-producer Jyoti Deshpande recently teased that the team is “not done yet,” suggesting a major surprise might be in store for fans later this year. As rumors of Dhurandhar 3 begin to circulate, the upcoming digital premiere of the second part serves as the perfect bridge to whatever high-stakes project Aditya Dhar has up his sleeve next.
