The trailer of Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna‘s much-awaited Netflix courtroom drama Ikka was unveiled on Monday at a star-studded event in Mumbai. While the gripping trailer generated excitement for the legal thriller, it was an off-screen moment involving Dia Mirza, Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna that became one of the highlights of the event.
The launch was attended by Sunny Deol, Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, and director Siddharth P. Malhotra. Akshaye Khanna, however, was absent from the event.

During an interaction with the media, Dia Mirza revealed that she was genuinely nervous about performing a scene in which she had to slap Akshaye Khanna.
Speaking candidly, the actor joked that she was worried about how audiences would react.
“First, tell me whether I am going to get into a lot of trouble for slapping Akshaye Khanna? I am very scared! He has a phenomenal fan following,” Dia said with a laugh. “I am terrified. Moreover, it has been included in the trailer as well.”
Her confession immediately drew laughter from the audience.
Director Reveals It Was Dia’s First Scene In Ikka
Director Siddharth P. Malhotra added another interesting detail about the sequence, revealing that it was the very first scene Dia filmed for the movie.
“That’s the first scene she shot with him,” the filmmaker said.
Dia confirmed this, saying that her first day on the sets involved performing the emotionally charged scene with Akshaye.
“The first scene I shot for this film was with Akshaye Khanna,” she said.
