The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations have been announced, with The Pitt emerging as the most nominated series of the year with 25 nominations. Comedy favorite Hacks followed closely with 24 nominations, making it one of the strongest contenders heading into television’s biggest night.
The winners will be announced at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14, 2026, with the ceremony hosted by Mariska Hargitay and airing on NBC and Peacock.
