The overall pass percentage stands at 12.38%, making it the lowest among the last six FMGE sessions.
The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination is a mandatory licensing exam for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have obtained their MBBS degree from foreign medical institutions and wish to practice medicine in India.

The June 2026 session recorded the lowest pass rate among the past six FMGE sessions, reflecting the challenging nature of the examination.
Important Information for Qualified Candidates
NBEMS has clarified that:
- FMGE Pass Certificates will be issued in person after verification of identity and eligibility documents.
- The schedule for certificate distribution will be announced separately on the official NBEMS website.
- The downloadable scorecard cannot be used as a substitute for the official FMGE Pass Certificate when applying for registration with State Medical Councils.
- The results of 20 candidates have been withheld, and the concerned candidates have been informed via email. Their candidature, along with that of all qualified candidates, remains provisional pending verification.
