Actor Imran Khan has spoken out against controversial influencer Andrew Tate, accusing him of exploiting vulnerable young boys by promoting unrealistic ideas of masculinity. During a recent podcast appearance, the actor shared his views on toxic male role models and credited his family for shaping his respectful outlook towards women.

Speaking on the Decoding Quirks podcast, Imran explained that many young men are taught to believe that money, fame and material success automatically lead to happiness. When those expectations are not fulfilled, he said, they often become vulnerable to influencers who promise simple solutions to complex personal struggles.

Taking a direct swipe at Andrew Tate, Imran said that such personalities prey on young boys searching for guidance and positive male role models. According to him, they promote a misleading “male power fantasy,” encouraging boys to believe that dominance over women is a measure of masculinity. He added that many impressionable youngsters end up believing these narratives during difficult phases of their lives.

Imran also reflected on his own upbringing, saying he was fortunate to have positive influences around him. He credited his mother along with the men in his family, including his father, stepfather, filmmaker Mansoor Khan, and uncle Aamir Khan, for teaching him to respect women in an equal and humane manner rather than through superficial ideals.
