Georgia-based parenting influencer Jamal Morton, popularly known as J’Amore, has shared the heartbreaking news of the death of his two-year-old daughter, Sadé Rose, following an accidental drowning at the family’s swimming pool.
The social media creator announced that he would be taking a break from all online platforms as he and his family grieve the devastating loss.
Jamal Morton Shares Emotional Tribute
On June 23, Morton posted an emotional tribute on Instagram alongside photos of his daughter.

Expressing his grief, he wrote that losing a child was the greatest pain he had ever experienced.
“You were the best daughter a father could ever ask for. Losing a child is a pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.”
He also shared a heartfelt message addressed to his daughter.
“I hope heaven is real because I can’t imagine you being all alone by yourself. So, God, if you’re real please watch over my baby. Rest in Peace my sweet angel. Daddy loves you forever Rose.”
The post has since been removed from Instagram.
GoFundMe Post Described the Tragic Accident
In a now-deleted GoFundMe campaign, Morton shared more details about the incident.

According to his post, Sadé believed she could swim by herself before leaving the house and entering the family’s swimming pool.
He wrote that she accidentally drowned after getting into the pool alone.
Morton also explained that the tragedy had left his family unable to remain in their home.
He said they planned to move because the emotional pain associated with the house was overwhelming. He also added that he did not expect to return to work anytime soon.
Authorities Say Incident Appears Accidental
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to NBC News that deputies responded to a residence in Hoschton, Georgia, on Sunday.
Officials said there was a death at the home that appears to be accidental in nature. Authorities have not released additional details about the investigation.
Family Requests Privacy During Difficult Time
Following the tragedy, Morton shared a TikTok video from his daughter’s second birthday celebration.
The clip showed Sadé Rose smiling as she prepared to blow out the candles on her Peppa Pig-themed birthday cake. The video included an “RIP” message and explained that he would be stepping away from social media.
The TikTok video, Instagram tribute and GoFundMe page have since been deleted. However, a statement posted on Facebook remains available.
In the Facebook announcement, Morton’s management team said he would not be posting or responding to messages while he and his family mourn their loss.
The team added that it would temporarily manage his social media accounts during his absence and thanked followers for respecting the family’s privacy.
