Mandana Karimi recently shared a personal health update with her followers on social media, revealing that she was hospitalized
Bollywood actor and model Mandana Karimi recently shared a personal health update with her followers on social media, revealing that she was hospitalized after her demanding schedule led to a severe physical breakdown. The actor confirmed that her hospitalization was a result of intense exhaustion, dehydration, and stress.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Mandana posted pictures from her hospital bed along with a lengthy and candid note detailing the toll her “boss-lady energy” had taken on her health.
“I’ve been on the move for months, nonstop flights, events, late nights, meetings, chasing deadlines and dreams. The boss-lady energy has been real,” she wrote. However, the non-stop pace culminated in an alarming health scare last week. “But on Friday, my body said, ‘not today.’ What I feared was my last heartbeat turned out to be exhaustion, dehydration, and stress disguised as something far scarier,” Mandana disclosed.
The actor underwent a series of tests and scans and expressed relief after doctors confirmed that her heart and body were physically fine, despite acknowledging that she had not been treating them well. She admitted to running on adrenaline and ignoring her body’s subtle warnings until it reached a critical point.
Reflecting on the experience while watching an echocardiogram of her heart, Mandana shared a moment of profound gratitude: “Watching the echo of my own heart, I couldn’t help but say ‘thank you.’ Thank you for holding me when I push too far. Thank you for forgiving me when I forget to slow down.”
Karimi concluded her post with a powerful message aimed at her followers, emphasizing the importance of self-care and knowing when to take a break. “This post is my reminder, and maybe yours too, that strength isn’t just about powering through. It’s also about pausing. It’s about honouring the body that carries us through everything, even when we don’t always show it grace. To my heart, to my body: I see you. I appreciate you. I promise to take better care,” she affirmed.
