After its theatrical release, Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer Peddi is now gearing up for its digital debut. The pan-India sports-action drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, hit cinemas on June 4, 2026, and received mixed reviews from audiences and critics. While Ram Charan, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu earned praise for their performances, some scenes featuring Janhvi Kapoor drew criticism from a section of viewers.

According to reports, Peddi is expected to premiere on Netflix from July 16, 2026. However, the makers have not yet officially confirmed either the streaming platform or the release date. Fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement regarding the film’s OTT debut.
The film follows the inspiring journey of Peddi, played by Ram Charan, a young man from a remote tribal village that lacks basic rights and even an officially recognised name. Determined to restore dignity to his community and secure a legal railway stop for the village, Peddi uses sport including cricket, wrestling, and running to fight for justice and recognition. The story blends sports, action, and emotional drama against a rural backdrop.

Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers, and Sukumar Writings, Peddi was released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Apart from Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, Boman Irani, and several other prominent actors in key roles.
Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana, best known for Uppena, the film boasts music composed by A.R. Rahman, while acclaimed cinematographer R. Rathnavelu handled the visuals. The combination of action, sports, emotion, and a socially driven narrative has made the film one of the most talked-about releases of the year.
